Excerpt from Video Transcript

Dr. Berger: Hi Julie, how are you feeling?
Julie: Sleepy
Dr. Berger: Sleepy. Are you having any pain right now?
Julie: A little cramping.
Dr. Berger: A little cramping? Okay, well we can give you something to take care of that.
Julie: Okay
Dr. Berger: Both of your tubes are repaired. Interestingly enough, we saw on your ultrasound yesterday we saw that there where a structure in your right ovary where you would normally ovulate from and you have already ovulated between yesterday and today. We saw that during the surgery. Both (fallopian) tubes are open. Your left tube is 6 centimeters in length and your right tube is 4 centimeters in length. And I will come up when you are up and dressed and I will draw you or show you. But basically the part of the tube that was attached to your uterus on the right side was scarred and had no opening in it so I had to remove that. And that is why the difference in the lengths that go out to the lengths that go out to the ovaries on each side are 4 centimeters and are very healthy. Things look good. They look real good.
Julie: Okay, Thank you.
Dr. Berger: Sure. And of course I will be very interested in having you follow up with me after this. And we look forward to getting a pregnancy report from you.
Julie: Thank you.
Dr. Berger: Okay so do you understand what was done? Do you have any questions about it?
Julie: No, I don't
Dr. Berger: Okay, I will check back in on you ina about another 45 minutes to an hour. By that time I think you will up and dressed and ready to go back to the hotel. If you have any questions you can talk with me.
Julie: Okay, thank you.
